The women in this series were created with a sense of play and curiosity. Around the same time, friends and I were chatting about our experience as mothers of adult children leaving home. The sheer emotion of it all. The grief and the joy. Our sadness matched by excitement for them. Our longings. The possibilities. Our own midlife launching. Perhaps these women are all of us…
